Nancy's notes

In school, I was always known for taking notes and sharing them with classmates, who endearingly named my circulations "Nancy's notes."  I have taken this habit beyond the classroom, and am more than happy to share my experiences as a new mommy with friends and others who are willing to read.

I grew up mostly in the SF Bay Area, particularly east of the Caldecott Tunnel and have settled in the Lamorinda area with my husband and toddler son.  Working full-time as a health care professional, and being a mommy to a very active boy, has its challenges but from time to time, I'll make an effort to write posts I think are interesting and that you hopefully will also find useful as I continue to navigate mommyhood (and try to do so frugally!) in the East Bay.

As a disclaimer, a lot of my posts may be based on my opinions and experiences and should not be taken as medical advice.  So many aspects of mommyhood are controversial and everyone will have different perspectives and convictions... so I apologize in advance if I offend anyone.  With that out of the way, read on and enjoy!
